The first row, first images shows a close up of this bench, partially hidden at the top of this grouping of roses. The next image shows a panoramic view of what you can see when you sit on this bench. The huge granite sculpture, "Sumo", is by Ernest Shaw. At the extreme right is another sculpture, "Trio" by Sarah Haviland. To the extreme left, out of sight in the panorama, is the sculpture that beckons kids of all ages. It is titled "Seat of Sound" by Robert Cooke and Daniel Goode. It consists of several pieces of metal hanging loose so they can be bonged by would-be percussionists. The sounds can be heard over much of the grounds. Click on the images to see larger sizes.
